YAGUL whose meaning is "Old Stick" is a work done in oil on 300 gr arches paper, and is a testimony of my travels through the different regions of Oaxaca.
This landscape corresponds to the steep area of the Tlacolula Valley, an archaeological zone and also a place where evidence of human occupation from very early times has been found; in the rocky parts with vestiges of cave paintings linked to nomadic groups of gatherers and hunters who inhabited the Valley of Oaxaca 7000 years ago.
